My Cerebral Palsy Story

I just thought I am doing a blog I wanted to share my life experiences as a disabled person.

Society says that I am disabled. Medical professionals say that I have Cerebral Palsy and Irlens syndrome.

However I don't see myself this way.

To me..

I am different some would say extremely but I can do anything you can do . The word exercise isn't in my vocabulary really and I don't like to do it. It is definitely NOT that I can't do it because I can. If I couldn't do it I wouldn't be walking, running, hopping and skipping today all be it some I wouldn't do in public because they are extra unique ways of exercising. However being extra unique does mean that I HAVE

Now you have gathered I am not a physical person. I am a thinker I love to be creative and I love numbers. Although I haven't done the numbers. I do find it fascinating in how they work as an individual but also in a calculation.(Ooh that's sounds geeky but I am who I am).

Apart from the numbers I love creative. I often dream about achieving my wildest dreams of singing and acting. But the honest answer is I am scared and I have seen it as a hobby but I would loved to be paid to act or sing or even both just once because they are my escape into something which can be so much bigger than reality but explains so much about the world we live in. One of my goals in life is to bring in disability into the arts. As from my Mind your language post I am very passionate about disability awareness. I also love to write about anything but my favourite is to create worlds with real characters. I wish to be published one day and one day I will. I am determined.

I guess my point in sharing my story is that I am just like you. Yes I do have a disability but to be honest it will never stop me aiming high which I always do.
