My definition of Cerebral Palsy is a neurological condition in which the brain sends jumbled up messages to the limbs.
Cerebral Palsy is a neurological condition that affects movement and it is caused by an injury during or after birth (1). There are many other causes such as lack of oxygen to the baby during birth or pregnancy. It can also be caused by an interruption of blood supply during pregnancy too.
My definition of Cerebral Palsy is that it is a neurological condition where the brain sends jumbled up messages to the muscles.
It can also cause other problems such as epilepsy, speech and some cognitive skills. It is treated through occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and physiotherapy.
